Hiking Cake
Loved doing this cake.
It was fun to put in elements that were special to the person receiving this cake.

Movie Theme
This one is all edible except the top and bottom of the reel.
They are cake boards covered in modelling chocolate.
Popcorn is made from marshmallows! Very tedious but fun!!

Flower Cake Pops
Springtime Cake Pops
It's mid April and still cold and snowy in Calgary!!
I hope these help to improve the weather. They are so cheery and colorful!
Bunny Butt Cake
This was my HAPPY EASTER cake!
I made it for Easter dinner for my family.
I loved this idea for a cake. Instead of the Kit Kat's like some people put around it I used a cookie.
I tried out a new cake recipe with it. Devils food chocolate cake with chocolate ganache in the layers and a chocolate glaze over top. VERY chocolaty!!! Definitely a chocolate lovers cake! Very rich. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
The bunny butt is a big ball of marshmallow fondant with chocolate m&m eggs surrounding it.
Mini Purse
I have always wanted to do a purse cake. This isn't the finest detailed or best possible one I could do but I did this one just for fun out of leftover cake and fondant scraps. It is quite a small cake. Only about 4 inches wide and 2 inches high. I let my kids smash it after it was done. They enjoyed that!
Ruffle Cake
This was a fun cake to do. I could do pretty much anything I wanted. I was given colors and a general idea of the likes of the person I was doing it for and got to take it from there.

Great little pet store down by the future Target store.

Baby Shower Cake Pops
I made these cake pops for a baby shower. They are a chocolate cake pop with fondant buttons on top. I couldn't resist I had to sparkle the buttons. I think it just looks so girly.
Super Mario Cupcakes
So I had a request to make 6 different Mario characters to place on top of cupcakes. Some of the characters I recognized others I did not. Goomba was one of the ones I have never heard of and he turned out to be my favorite. I think he is sooo cute. They were time consuming but so worth it. I think they turned out quite cute.
The Mario figures were made out of marshmallow fondant and placed on top of a dark chocolate cupcake with chocolate butter cream icing.

Gymnastics Cake
This cake wasn't my own design. I give credit to Cake by Lisa Price. I was given a picture to work from that the little girl fell in love with months ago. I changed a couple of things but the idea is the same. All in all it was still so much fun to do.

Lego Cake
OK so had some blogging issues and was unable to get pictures on my blog for a while.
So... these are cakes done in December. I have to do a little catch up.
I had a request for another Lego cake. This time ALL Lego.
It was fun to incorporate the number 7 into it.
