Lots of Circles Birthday Cake

 

 

This was a cake for the 40th birthday of my friend Michele.

It reminds me of bubble gum with all the bright colors.

When I delivered the cake I was delighted to see that the colors matched the balloons perfectly.

 

 



Ribbon Roses

This is my second cake this weekend. My mom LOVES chocolate cake and mocha icing. I wanted to try making some ribbon roses so I thought this cake would work nice with a basket weave and some pretty ribbon roses.

 

 



Dragon /Book

 

This was done for my oldest daughters birthday. She is my biggest fan and critic.
She loves to come up with elaborate ideas for me and help me try to figure them out.
The dragon is made out of modelling chocolate... which is something I haven't done before. It's always good to try new things out on family.
